Here's a chance to try VoiceThread and earn some extra credit. I think VoiceThread is a good alternative to Powerpoint and allows for collaboration. From the website:

A text comment is worth 5 points. Recorded or phoned in comments are worth 10 points. Video comments are worth 15 points. You can leave up to three comments, but only one on each slide.
